In a rapidly growing market, when medicines prices are skyrocketing TSC bank decided to collaborate with various vendors and launch Neethi medical stores to provide low cost medicines to the needy in Mulankunnathukavu, Kolazhy panchayaths and Mulankunnathukavu Medical College campus.
TSC bank started this initiative to support the hard working clan of farmers with low cost farm goods such as fertilizers and bio-composts. We believe many changes together can pave way to a bigger better change. ‘Good Food’ campaign’s collective success comes from setting the whole ecosystem around farmers. Farmer’s collectives are enrolled into this initiative and it acts a back born to the ‘good food’ movement.
To promote healthy eating through organic vegetables and paddy cultivation to meet the region’s good food demand, we have initiated the concept of small farms and group farms. Last few years have witnessed an increase in the number of health problems due to lack of fresh and pesticides free produce. Together, we aim to initiate ‘Good Food’ campaign to incentivize people to take up organic farming to meet the regional food demands. TSC bank’s objective is to integrate its various resources such as the credit facility to farmers and delivery channels such as the Super Markets for the ‘Good Food’ Initiative.
